The new Easyfeed Camo Tank replaces the Ripstop tanks from previous systems. The new and improved design offers many advantages over other tanks and is the ideal water reservoir for high quality hydro systems. The main body of the tank is made from a Heavy Duty PVC that is very tough, hard wearing and easily capable of taking the weight of water within (1L of water weights 1kg, so a big tank needs to be pretty strong!). The main tank is supported and held up using a heavy duty steel frame, again made with the weight of water in mind.
One huge benefit of the Camo Tank is the locked thread for screwing the tap to. This negates the need for a nut on the inside as it is factory fitted, meaning leaks should be a thing of the past! The lid of the tank is made of heat reflective Mylar, so there is less heat transference to the water and nutrients. Camo Tank lids use velcro to keep them in position, meaning they are easy to open and close whenever you need. There are also entry and exit holes in the top of the tank, should you need them, and they come with a screw cap to close them when not in use. Finally, each tank has a volume indicator on the outside so you can easily see how much water remains inside. Camo Tanks come flat packed and require some easy assembly!
Alternatives to the Camo Tank
At Straight Up Hydroponics, we have a couple of other water butts available, should you need something else. The flexitank is a staple tank for many systems, and they now offer a Pro version which is stronger than the original. These options are available on our website and you can see them by clicking here.
