These robust square pots ensure your plants have a home its roots can thrive in. They consist of a sturdy, strong plastic that will last for years with proper care. The square shape allows you to make the most of the floor space in your grow room. Round pots will have gaps between the pots which is essentially a waste of space! The Large Square Pot 25L is suitable for use indoors and outdoors or greenhouses.
The Large Square Pot 25L has drainage holes in the base to make sure it doesn’t get too wet in the pot, but you can always add perlite to the soil to help with this. They are also great in combination with individual pot saucers which you can find on our website, here. Alternatively, a larger tray that you can stand multiple pots in is a good idea too. Depending on the final size of the plant you are growing, you can use these pots right up to harvest. Of course, the bigger the roots, the bigger the plant, so potting up is always an option if you have the floor space! The Large Square Pot 25L is a great pot to use after a smaller pot such as 6.5L pot.
HOW TO WORK OUT HOW MUCH SOIL I NEED IN THE LARGE SQUARE POT 25L (MULTIPLE POTS)
To work out how many bags of soil you need to fill these pots simply follow this sum.
NUMBER OF POTS TIMES THE LITRE CAPACITY OF POTS DIVIDED BY SOIL BAG SIZE.
So if you have 16 pots, for example, your sum would be 16 x 25 / 50 = 8 bags of soil. Of course, this is the amount of soil to fill them from empty. If you are potting up, the roots will take up some space so in the above example, 6 bags would be ok.
