Budlink from Hy-Gen is a top grade silica additive that will give plants quite a few benefits. It encourages plants to grow stronger and healthier by increasing silica content in the cell walls. Your plants will become more rigid and sturdy; far more capable of supporting a heavy yield without sagging under the weight. After just a few treatments, stems become thicker and leaves become bigger, which in itself means more light exposure and therefore more sugar production.

Another great benefit of Budlink is a boost to disease resistance due to the plant cells being tougher. Pathogens have a much harder time penetrating the cells and so cannot get a foothold on the plant. Tougher plants are also much better at repelling insect attack too, for the same reason.

Plants that are treated with Budlink become better at dealing with environmental stresses and will recover quicker from such situations. This is due in part to the way silica envelopes cells with a waterproof layer, stopping too much being lost. Budlink have a great formula which doesn’t interfere with pH too much. Some other silica additives are fairly alkaline because of the compounds they use and that means you’ll need to add pH down to balance it.
